We are able to provide quality services at low cost because of our parent volunteers and donors. Volunteer service is requested of all parents, but opportunities are flexible and vary in commitment. These include:
Transportation
Carpool provider: Transport students (other than your own) to and from school
Transportation for Field Trips: Provide transportation for other At-Risk students, up to 10hrs/weekly, mornings and afternoons
Aiding/Tutoring
Pre-Kindergarten Aide: Aide for Pre-Kindergarten 3- or 4-year olds, 1-5 weekday mornings, anytime between 8:30am-11:35pm.
Tutor/Aide Refugees: Tutor or Aide for refugees, 1-5 weekday mornings, anytime between 8:30-11:35p.
Friday Readers: Read to Pre-K3 through 5th grade classes every Friday between 9-11am.
Event Support
Fall/Spring Program Greeters: Greet and pass out programs, 1hr/program.
Restore Saint Louis Benefit Dinner: Greet and assist at fundraisers, 4hrs/event.
Site Support
Clerical Assistance: Mass mailings, 1hr/week.
Clothing Assistance: Organize clothing for “accidents” as well as “Lost and Found” clothing, 1hr/month.
Food Service Cook and/or Server: Help us in providing hot lunch, organize supplies, 1-2 hrs/daily or weekly, times can vary
Supervise a Learning Center
Librarian: Organize Books, manage online book tracking system, work with teachers to provide themed studies, 1-7hrs/daily or weekly, times can vary
Garden Center: Organize and maintain garden for class use, 1-7hrs/daily or weekly, times can vary
Supervise Student Team/Acitivity
Soccer Coach or Assistant: Organize a team, 1-7hrs/daily or weekly, times can vary
Basketball Coach or Assistant: Organize a team, 1-7hrs/daily or weekly, times can vary
